Balloon Booking Terms & Conditions

By placing and paying for an order with Partylicious Devon, the customer confirms that they have read, understood and accepted the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Booking Times

Once an order has been booked for an agreed date and specific collection, delivery or setup time, this time cannot be changed by the customer unless authorised by Partylicious Devon.

We understand that circumstances can change and, where possible, we will try to accommodate requests to alter a booking time. However, any change is entirely at the discretion of Partylicious Devon and will depend on our existing bookings and availability.

If we are able to accommodate a change, an additional charge may apply.

2. Payment & Booking Confirmation

A booking is only considered confirmed once the required payment or deposit has been received and the order has been accepted by Partylicious Devon.

By making payment, the customer confirms their acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

Where a deposit has been agreed, the remaining balance must be paid by the date specified by Partylicious Devon. Failure to make the final payment by the agreed date may result in cancellation of the booking.

3. Cancellations

Any booking cancelled within 72 hours of the booked date will be charged at the full cost of the booking and no refund will be given.

This is because balloons, personalised products and other materials may already have been purchased, prepared or produced specifically for the customer’s order and the allocated booking slot may no longer be available to another customer.

Personalised or specially ordered items that have already been produced or purchased may be non-refundable regardless of when the cancellation is made.

4. Changes to Orders

Requests to change balloon colours, wording, personalisation, quantities, designs or other details after an order has been confirmed are subject to availability.

Changes cannot be guaranteed and may incur an additional charge, particularly where products or materials have already been ordered or prepared.

5. Collection of Balloons

Customers must collect their order at the date and time agreed when booking.

Please ensure that the vehicle being used to collect balloons is large enough to safely transport the order.

Once balloons have been collected and have left our premises, they become the customer’s responsibility.

Partylicious Devon cannot accept responsibility for balloons that are damaged, burst, lost or affected by the way they are transported, stored or handled after collection.

6. Delivery & Setup

Where delivery or venue setup has been booked, the customer is responsible for providing accurate venue details and ensuring that Partylicious Devon has suitable access at the agreed time.

Any delays outside our control, including delays gaining access to a venue, may result in additional charges where they significantly affect the time required to complete the setup.

The customer should ensure that any necessary permission has been obtained from the venue for balloon decorations, backdrops or other equipment before the event.

7. Balloon Care

Balloons are delicate products and can be affected by their surroundings.

Customers should keep balloons away from sharp objects, excessive heat, naked flames, heaters and other conditions that could damage them.

Once balloons have been collected, delivered or the setup has been completed and accepted in good condition, Partylicious Devon cannot be held responsible for subsequent damage caused by handling, environmental conditions or circumstances outside our control.

8. Outdoor Balloon Displays

Balloons used outdoors are particularly vulnerable to weather and environmental conditions, including wind, rain, heat, direct sunlight and changes in temperature.

Partylicious Devon cannot guarantee how long an outdoor balloon display will last or remain in its original condition.

Where severe or unsuitable weather conditions make an outdoor installation unsafe or impractical, Partylicious Devon reserves the right to alter, relocate or refuse the outdoor installation.

Where possible, we will discuss suitable alternatives with the customer.

9. Latex Balloons & Allergies

Some of our balloon displays may contain natural rubber latex.

Customers are responsible for informing Partylicious Devon before their order is produced if they or someone attending their event has a known latex allergy.

Where possible, we can discuss alternative balloon options, although a completely latex-free design may not always be possible.

10. Children & Balloons

Children should be supervised around balloons and balloon decorations.

Burst or uninflated balloons and any small decorative components should be kept away from young children.

Partylicious Devon cannot accept responsibility for balloons or decorations once they have been interfered with, moved, dismantled or damaged after collection, delivery or installation.

11. Hired Equipment

Any items supplied on a hire-only basis remain the property of Partylicious Devon at all times.

Customers are responsible for taking reasonable care of hired equipment from the time it is delivered or installed until it is collected or returned.

The customer may be charged for hired equipment that is lost, stolen or damaged beyond reasonable wear and tear while in their care.

Hired equipment must not be moved, dismantled or removed from the agreed venue without prior permission from Partylicious Devon.

12. Colour & Design Variations

We will always aim to create balloon designs as closely as possible to the colours, photographs or examples agreed with the customer.

However, balloon colours can appear different depending on lighting, photography, screens and availability. Slight variations in colour, size, shape and positioning are normal.

Organic balloon displays are individually created, so no two displays will be completely identical.

13. Substitutions

If a particular balloon, colour, product or material becomes unavailable due to circumstances outside our control, Partylicious Devon reserves the right to use a suitable alternative of a similar style, colour or value where reasonably necessary.

Where the substitution would significantly change the overall agreed design, we will aim to contact the customer beforehand.

14. Customer-Supplied Information

Customers are responsible for checking that all information supplied when placing an order is correct, including:

• Names and personalised wording

• Ages and numbers

• Dates and times

• Balloon colours and designs

• Collection or delivery details

• Venue details and access arrangements

Partylicious Devon cannot accept responsibility for errors resulting from incorrect information supplied or approved by the customer.

15. Circumstances Outside Our Control

Partylicious Devon will make every reasonable effort to fulfil confirmed bookings.

However, there may occasionally be circumstances outside our reasonable control that prevent or significantly affect fulfilment, such as severe weather, road closures, venue restrictions, supplier problems or other unforeseen events.

If this occurs, we will contact the customer as soon as reasonably possible and discuss the available options.

16. Acceptance of Terms & Conditions

By paying a deposit, making full payment or otherwise confirming a booking with Partylicious Devon, the customer confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

Your rights as a consumer remain unaffected by the terms below.

💷 Pricing – All prices are in Pounds Sterling (£). While we make every effort to ensure pricing is correct, if an error is found, we will notify you, and you can choose whether to proceed or cancel your order.

📅 Availability & Bookings – Our stock is extensive, but during busy times, we operate on a first-come, first-served basis. To avoid disappointment, we recommend booking early. Last-minute bookings may limit what we can offer.

💰 Deposits & Payments – A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date. This will be deducted from your final balance, which must be paid no later than 4 weeks before your event. Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation without notice and the loss of your deposit. Bookings made within two weeks of the event must be paid in full at the time of booking.

✅ Booking Confirmation – Once your deposit or full payment is received (along with signed terms & conditions where necessary), your booking is officially confirmed.

🎈 Responsibility for Balloons – Once we have delivered and left your venue, or you have collected your balloons, we are no longer responsible for any damage, bursts, or losses. Heat, cold, and static can affect float times or even cause balloons to pop.

📦 Collection Orders – If you collect your balloons from us, they are not covered for damage once they leave our premises. If balloons are damaged after this point, no refunds will be given. If venue staff or third parties move or alter the décor after setup, we are not liable for any damage. Any disputes must be taken up directly with the venue or third party involved.

⏳ Float Times – Latex balloons are only guaranteed to float for around 10 hours before they start to deflate, please state when ordering for when the balloons are needed for so we can let you know if the balloons will need magic treatment so that they last for your event.

⚠ Safety Warning – Latex balloons are not safe for children under 36 months, as they pose a choking hazard. We highly recommend adult supervision for children under 8 years old when handling balloons.

By paying your deposit and/or signing your booking confirmation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
